The Snooker Ball Triangle

 

If you have watched or played snooker you will know how the 15 balls are set up at the beginning of each game played and helped by a wooden triangle. In this case the wooden triangle follows the curvature at all three ‘corners’. Let us assume that the balls are exactly 5cm in diameter.
